What's on my mind?

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

As I was waiting on my plane, and so worried about my mother I was sick God showed up....

It's started with a couple sitting next to me that needed some help, so I helped, then invited them to church. I was called to the desk by Patti, I asked her a question and before I knew it we were talking about church and invited her. Then a man in a wheelchair was rolled next to my seat. His name is Otis, Of course I started talking to him. He had a heavy bag with him so I offered to carry it on the plane. As I picked it up, he said "are you sure? It is very heavy". The bag felt light in comparison to what my friend was carrying. My new friend has stage 4 cancer. We talked how I was on my way to see my mom for her Cancer surgery, he explained he was between treatments for his cancer and was in Chattanooga visiting his mom. We had crazy things in common and couldn't have been more different at the same time. We ended up talking about God and he asked me to pray for him. I then hear Patti call my name... Yes, mam? "We are upgrading your seat, thank you for your kindness". I walked on the plane thinking I was helping Otis, with his burden, really.. the couple, Patti and Otis helped me with mine. I had stopped worrying about my problems and started focusing on others and on God, immediately my problems, while still there were no longer weighing me down. I sat in the most comfortable seat I have ever been in on a plane.

As I got off the plane, Otis had stopped his attendant and handed me his card and said thank you. I prayed for him again this morning and I'm asking everyone to join me. Thank you Lord for showing up and allowing me to focus on You.

Maybe just for me, but there ya go.
