“We The Church.” What a fascinating thought that the God of the universe, and the creator of all things would allow us to take part in His story of redeeming the world. If you had to come up with a plan to share the greatest news ever told and make sure its message gets to every nation, tribe, and tongue, how would you do it? You’d probably choose the smartest and brightest, the most qualified, or the wealthiest who could pay to have it done, but not Jesus. He chose to use the uneducated, the unqualified, and the broken and invite them to take part in His story, He chose the church! The church is not plan B, or C, no friends, the church is plan A. “We The Church” are a people who have been called and commissioned to take the message of the Gospel to the ends of the earth no matter the cost.
The church is a beautiful collection of faithful nobodies who have been radically saved and redeemed through a holy encounter with The Good Shepherd. Through His grace and mercy, The Good Shepherd has filled His sheep with purpose, passion, and gifts to proclaim the good news which we have received to a fallen and broken world. There is a conversation going on today at the table of culture as many different voices are trying to indoctrinate the world and the next generation on things like truth, morality, purpose, identity, sexuality, gender, social justice, marital and family roles, and much more. “We The Church” must not forfeit or surrender our seat at that table as we are representatives and ambassadors from a different kingdom. A kingdom built on absolute truth and authority about of a King who is far greater than any president, world leader, or celebrity. We represent a good shepherd who can offer true hope and salvation to all men. “We The Church” represent Jesus.
The heart of “We The Church” is to create a platform of everyday Christians who have different passions, and callings, and a God-given voice that needs to be heard in this bigger conversation, both inside the church and in society. Our goal is to help equip, develop, and build up the church as we are all on mission together carrying one unified message. “We The Church,” are God’s “Plan A” to help reach the world!
