Worship In The Struggle

What's on my mind?

This picture. It was taken and Shared by a member of our church.

Its a great picture of our church worshipping in song..

What it doesn't show...

1. That morning's rehearsal was a disaster

2. My voice was shot from a bout with fall laryngitis.

3. Our sound guy was battling health issues.

4. Our lyrics person struggled with getting a child out the door.

5. There was a light that kept flickering.

The list goes on and on.

What it doesn't show is that some mornings are a struggle for the band and some mornings are a struggle for the people in the seats.

However, despite our struggles, we are to worship. We are to give praise. We are to acknowledge Who God is.

What it shows is a body of believers all with struggles coming together to worship and Bless God. I don't know what is missing from your picture. Maybe it's a struggle, maybe a past circumstance, maybe the need for a real relationship with Christ. If that is you....Then YOU are missing from this picture too. I pray you are in the next one.
