More Than Just Easter: Why We Keep Coming Back To Church

What's on my mind?
As we get close to Easter I realize we will be seeing a lot of people that honestly come to church maybe once or twice a year. Sometimes it's out of obligation to mom on Mother's Day. Other times it's looked at as a holy holiday that we want to be a part of, like Christmas. Then there is Easter, which falls in the middle of the other previously mentioned holidays.
So why do you go to church? I'm asking myself that in lieu of the holiday and wondering how do we encourage people to come as often as the doors are open, not just Christmas and Easter.
The Bible says in Hebrews 10:25, “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Church isn’t just a place we visit on special occasions—it’s where we grow, serve, and find community. It's a hospital for the broken, a training ground for the called, and a sanctuary for the weary.
Coming together regularly helps us stay rooted in God’s truth, surrounded by people who will walk with us, pray for us, and hold us up when we can’t stand on our own.
So this Easter, come. Come with your questions, your burdens, and your hopes. But don’t stop there. Come back. Keep coming. God has something for you not just on the holidays, but every single day.
We’re better together, and we’d love to see you every week—not just for a tradition, but for transformation. That's what's on my mind, maybe just for me, but there ya go. Hope to see you at Church.
